Beech Class - MCC

Welcome to Beech Class

Miss Peacock is delighted to welcome you to Beech class where learning is engaging, fun and exciting. Supporting both you as parents and the children is an important part of our learning and if you need anything then don't hesitate to pop in and speak to her.

Beech class is an enhanced provision within the Margaret Coates Centre (MCC). We use a calm, consistent and structured approach daily to allow children to flourish into well rounded individuals. The teaching within Beech class follows the national curriculum, however, we have numerous interventions to help children stay engaged and regulate within the classroom. These include:

• Daily 1-1 reading.
• Weekly Attention autism sessions.
• Weekly Oracy building classes.
• Weekly Forest School.
• Termly reward afternoons chosen by the class.
