Olive Class - Year 1

Welcome to Olive Class!

What a fantastic start to the year our Year 1 children have made! They began the year settling in with a Reception-style approach, building confidence, independence and strong learning routines. Over the past term, they have made a brilliant transition into more formal learning — and we couldn’t be prouder of how well they have adapted.

The children are working incredibly hard, showing great focus, enthusiasm and resilience in their lessons. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they take on new challenges and develop their reading, writing and maths skills.

We are so excited to see all the progress they will continue to make this term. Keep up the amazing work, Year 1 — you are shining!
