Ofsted Inspection

We are proud of the positive findings from our latest Ofsted inspection, which took place in January 2026.

The inspection recognised the many strengths of our school and the significant improvements that are already taking place.

  •  Improving quality of teaching – leaders have prioritised improving teaching, with staff receiving additional training and support. Ofsted noted that recent work on assessment has resulted in improvements.
  • Inclusive approach – the school identifies pupils' needs early and provides tailored support. Ofsted said the school's specially resourced provision for pupils with SEND makes a “substantial contribution” to the local partnership.
  • Pupils enjoy their learning – Ofsted observed that pupils demonstrate enjoyment of learning and often want to share and celebrate the work they have produced.
  • A clear improvement journey – the report acknowledges significant recent changes but also recognises that new leaders have quickly established a secure understanding of the school's strengths and priorities and are taking action to accelerate improvement.
