Welcome to St. Martin’s Garden Primary School
It is the vision of those involved with St. Martin’s Garden Primary School to help the children in our care learn to be responsible for themselves, and for their role in the community, as well as encouraging them to achieve their full potential.
This is a lot to aim for, but everything we do at the school is working towards this, and we hope to get every child as close to that aim as they are capable of. They are with us for up to eight of the thirteen years they will spend in compulsory education, a time of their lives which will, hopefully, set them on the road to success in their future life.
We cannot of course achieve this on our own. We try to work alongside the home and family so that each child is being supported in the same way no matter where they are. In this way the child is most likely to succeed.
The opening of St. Martin’s Garden Children’s Centre in September 2006 has given a whole new dimension to what we provide. Not only can childcare be provided from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. for children from 3 months to 11 years, but it has brought a raft of new opportunities for the community.
I hope that this website gives you some idea of what we aim to provide for the children in our care. If you have any questions, or require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
