Parent, Teacher & Friends Association (PTFA)

The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is run by parents with the aim of organising events that bring parents, children and teachers together to have fun, and raise money for our great school at the same time.  We are a registered charity and every parent is welcome to join us.

The PTFA are currently working with the school to raise funds for new outdoor play equipment and will be running various events throughout the year. If you have any fundraising ideas or can help out please do get involved.

FANTASTIC NEWS: In August 2018 St Martin's Garden Primary's PTFA were chosen by Customers and Staff of Sainsbury's Odd Down as their local Charity of the Year. We are very excited and proud to be working with our local community, over the coming year, to raise funds to replace, repair or buy new outdoor play equipment. If you have any ideas for fundraising events please email: PTFA@stmartinsgarden.org.uk.

Look out for information about forthcoming PTFA events in the school newsletter.

It is true that "many hands make light work" and we cannot run these events without parents volunteering to help.  If you cannot commit to being part of the PTFA committee, there are many other different ways you can support us throughout the year.  We are always looking for people to help with stalls, set up and tidy up after events, bake cakes for cake sales, and so on.

We welcome your involvement, whether you have lots of time to offer or not.  The PTFA committee meets once a term to plan events and this is an opportunity for every parent come along and put forward your suggestions and ideas.  The date for the meeting is advertised in the school newsletter and on the noticeboard.  If you think you can give some time please contact the PTFA Committee at PTFA@stmartinsgarden.org.uk.

The PTFA are registered with TheGivingMachine.co.uk - when you shop on-line if you go through TheGivingMachine.co.uk, the retailer will give a donation to our school and it doesn't cost you a penny ~ You shop, they give!!
