"Cook It is one of our clubs-you learn to cook things like pizza with your family". "The swimming pool is enormously exciting" (Year 4 pupils)

At St Martin's Garden, there is a selection of after school and lunchtime clubs to choose from, which are designed to enrich and extend the normal learning environment.  The dedication shown by our staff, who give their time freely to provide such opportunities, is greatly appreciated.

Some of the clubs we operate throughout the year are:

Rugby Football Gardening Drumming Pins & Needles
Kit Car Multi Sports Judo Dance Book Club

We also run cycling courses and events throughout the year through the “Bike-It” project, a cycling project funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council and Sustrans.  Jim Imeson, Bike It Officer at Sustrans, is in charge of implementing the scheme at local schools. He commented, “Bike-It takes place all year round and has been met with great enthusiasm by pupils and staff”.

St Martin’s Garden Primary School is lucky enough to have its own swimming pool on site.  Every child has an opportunity to learn to swim and gain confidence in the water.  The swimming pool is currently under refurbishment and we hope to start using it again in the Spring term.
