School admissions are the responsibility of the Local Authority and any application for a school place must be made to the Local Authority Admissions Department.  You will find full information about the admissions procedures on the Bath and North East Somerset website http://www.bathnes.gov.uk/educationandlearning/Schoolsandcolleges/schooladmissions/ or you can contact them on 01225 394312 or email admissions_transport@bathnes.gov.uk 

An information book entitled "A Primary School for your Child" is available from the Local Authority.  Children who are four years of age on or before 31st August 2012 can start school in September 2012 (ie children born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008). If your child is due to start Reception in September 2012, you will need to submit your application before the closing date of 15th January 2012.

• Complete and return the application form included in the information book
