Year 3, Oak Tree Class, Year 4, Lime Tree Class, Year 5, Aspen Tree Class and Year 6, Willow Tree Class, make up Key Stage 2. The range of learning experiences increases in line with the expectations of the National Curriculum. We aim to develop and consolidate the essential skills of communication, literacy and mathematics, and ensure opportunities for their application through a range of subjects.

These subjects include Science, ICT, Religious Education, Geography, History, PE, Design Technology, Music, Art, Drama, Modern Foreign Languages, PSHE and Citizenship and Sex and Relationship Education.

In addition, the curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our children and prepares them for the demands and opportunities of life.

Personal organisational skills are important in today’s world and, as the children progress, we lay great emphasis on their taking responsibility for punctuality, possessions, hygiene and appearance.
