School Lunches

School Meals are currently prepared and cooked by an external provider.

  

_{Children can, of course, bring their own packed lunches and we actively encourage healthy lunchboxes. Sweets and fizzy drinks are strictly off the menu!  Fruit is provided for a mid-morning snack.  Parents are asked to provide a piece of fruit for an afternoon snack.}

                  

^{We are proud of our large, bright dining hall where the children can enjoy their meal in a pleasant, sociable atmosphere. They are supervised by our friendly team of Lunchtime Supervisors, who encourage the children to eat a good, healthy meal.} 

 

^{From September 2014 every child in Reception and Key Stage 1 is entitled to a free hot school meal. The Government is funding a hot meal for all these pupils under the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).}    

^{Free School Meals Eligible by Benefits (EBB) are available for all pupils}

^{Free school meals can be awarded if you receive any of the following:}

• ^{Income Support}
• ^{Job Seeker's Allowance (income-based)}
• ^{Employment and Support Allowance (income-related)}
• ^{support under part six of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999}
• ^{the Guarantee element of State Pension Credit}
• ^{Child Tax Credit - providing you are NOT entitled to Working Tax Credit and your family's annual income (as assessed by HMRC) is not more than £16,190 (as at 6 April 2012)}
• ^{Working Tax Credit 'run-on' - the payment you may receive for a further four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit}
• ^{Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most ecent assessment periods)}
